Résidant à Broumana, le personage considère que Beyrouth, la propre capitale de son pays, est considérablement loin de lui, quand en réalité elle ne l’est pas. Tout au long du film, ce jeune homme va grandir sur la base d’une conversation entre lui et ses parents, en contraste avec sa perception sur Beyrouth qu’il tenait à travers sa puberté, ses années d’adolescence, et jusqu’au jour fatal du 4 aout 2020, lors de l’explosion du port de Beyrouth. Ce jour pour lui était un véritable tournant dans son point de vue envers son pays, et le met dans une situation de conflit personnel.

After the devastating explosion of August 4, Alexander, a 17-year-old man, visits the destroyed house of his deceased grandmother and begins to browse the house with his camera. To his surprise, while taking a photo in his grandmother's bedroom, he discovers an old, dusty box hidden behind her closet. He begins his research and discovers that his grandmother has a secret double identity.

Documentary: Oryna, an 18-year-old Ukrainian girl, fled her homeland during the Russian invasion of Ukraine, while all her family, including her 7-year-old sister Ksiusha, decided to remain there. The film observes the daily remote communication between Oryna and her younger sister and reveals their close bonds of sisterhood, which remain strong despite their separation, the constant presence of the war, and the natural process of growing apart.
